What To Expect From Your Dental Implant Procedure
1) Free Virtual Smile Consult

3) Follow-Up Appointment
During the 3-6 month healing period, you’ll have a follow-up appointment to assess the integration of your implants. This appointment includes a detailed discussion, where you can discuss your healing progress and any concerns. We will examine your implants and the healing of your sutures to ensure everything is proceeding as expected. Before you leave, we’ll provide a clear timeline for when you should return to receive your final restorations.
4) Healing & Final Restorations
Your dental implant posts will fuse with the surrounding bone tissue during osseointegration. Most of your healing process will be very comfortable, and most patients report tolerable discomfort for the first few days.
Once your mouth has healed, you’ll return to our office for updated scans and to have your final restorations placed. These final restorations are hand-crafted from the highest-quality material and built to last. With proper at-home care and regular checkups, your dental implants have the potential to last an entire lifetime!

Dr. Zack Youngblood’s journey to dentistry wasn’t a straight path, but it was definitely a meaningful one. Born and raised in Valdosta, GA, he initially set his sights on becoming a pharmacist. But a last-minute decision to shadow at a local dental office changed everything. There, he discovered his true calling – a profession that combined his love for science with his passion for connecting with people.
This led him to the University of Florida’s prestigious dental program, where he honed his skills and developed his unique approach to dental care. Today, Dr. Youngblood specializes in cosmetic facial balancing, using a comprehensive range of treatments from veneers and implants to Invisalign and Botox. What really drives Dr. Youngblood is the joy of helping people smile with complete confidence. To Dr. Youngblood, each patient presents a unique puzzle, and he thrives on creating personalized solutions that bring out the best in every smile.
